Caitlin Vasko

For Caitlin, art acts as a catharsis and a place of joy where she can channel what she learns and discovers into different forms expressed through her pieces.

As a child she grew up with a heavy art presence- from museum adventures to learning different art forms such as sculpting, painting, designing. Fast forward, and her life complete changed- she became a mother. The most beautiful life event had just happened, and her life seemed fulfilled. But after countless diaper changes, monotony of the crying baby, feeding baby, and sleep deprivation, she needed an additional purpose that she could juggle while being a mother. 

Her passion for art was reignited, and she began creating watercolor artwork for her child's nursery. This flowed into other mediums and designs. Today she focuses on heavily textured contemporary abstract art that is timeless, bold and vibrant. 

She is committed to creating pieces that capture the heart and imagination and continue to fuel her inner flame of creativity. No two pieces are exactly alike and that is what she loves most about art.
