Candace Greer Leger is a contemporary abstract painter. She draws her inspiration from the coast, water, nature and her travels. She works with a variety of mediums including high flow and fluid acrylics, oils, watercolors, gouache, charcoal, oil pastels, house paint, etc. Candace begins her process with shapes and negative space and uses layering principles throughout her work. She has always used art as a therapeutic and healing modality. Candace's paintings are calm, soothing and peaceful. She currently lives in her hometown of Lafayette, Louisiana, with her husband, daughter and rescue pets and works from her home studio.
