Founder’s Story

Marcy P. Willis has always been passionate about art and design, with a deep love for creativity and craftsmanship. For ten years, she owned a lifestyle retail store in New Orleans, LA, where her journey as an artist began. It was in this space that Marcy started painting and selling her own pieces in a small corner of the store, sharing her work with customers who quickly embraced her unique style. As her passion for art grew, so did her commitment to creating. She transitioned into being a full-time artist, dedicating herself to producing original works that inspired both herself and others.

Throughout her artistic journey, Marcy had the privilege of meeting an incredibly talented community of artists, each of whom sparked new ideas and deepened her appreciation for the power of art.

After five fulfilling years as an artist, Marcy envisioned creating a space dedicated to thoughtfully curated, original artwork. That vision became Collected Maison, an online gallery showcasing handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces by artists whose work is meant to be lived with and collected. Each piece reflects the individuality, creativity, and craftsmanship of the artist behind it.

Marcy has worked closely with talented artists and artful brands to bring Collected Maison to life. In addition to managing Collected Maison, Marcy continues to paint out of her New Orleans studio, creating pieces for both her individual artist website and Collected Maison.
