Erin Speights

Erin’s love of art began in college while pursuing her degree in Business. During this time, she completed a few art courses which ended up being her favorite. Little did she know, these basic art skills would help her become a full-time artist later on in life. In 2020, her daughters asked for paintings for their new rooms. She already had a love for creativity, which opened the idea of painting them herself. As she shared these pieces with everyone, it quickly sparked an interest in others who wanted paintings for their homes as well. As she continued to paint, she developed her original style which consisted of textured acrylic gold leaf sunsets, inspired by her love of sunsets that she learned from her father who unfortunately passed in 2014. Her work has now evolved to her current style, incorporating the textured acrylic and gold pen from her previous style, with the addition of watercolor acrylics on paper. The calming aesthetic of her work often draws one in, giving a sense of peace and tranquility. On her time off from the studio, she enjoys gardening, cooking and spending time with her husband, 4 beautiful children and 4 fur babies.
