Mixed media consisting of heavy texture, acrylic and beautiful 3D butterflies that are hand-gilded to appear as if they have gracefully landed right on the canvas. 

The sides of the 1.5 inch depth canvas are textured and painted a matching metallic sheen as the front of the painting, while the edges have a simple gilded border.

“I named this collection of paintings

 "Don't Wait for Your Wings" as a testament to perseverance and overcoming obstacles life can present to each and every one of us.

I myself have been given many seemingly impossible obstacles to my goals, but I didn't wait for my wings to arrive....I leapt anyway! 

I took the risk.

Despite a few falls along way...each and every time I decided to get back up and try again.

I earned these wings. Maybe you've earned yours too?”
